how do you tell if you pronounce the ㅇ or not
If it’s at the start of a syllable block it’s not pronounced you just say the sound of the vowel, such as in 엄마 and 아이. If it’s at the end of a syllable block it’s pronounced like ‘ng’, such as in 강 or 상황. So in 영 the first one is not pronounced but the final one is (yeong).
