So I personally love cooking. The food is one of the main reasons I began studying Korean. A lot of the Korean cooking shows are great sources, but are not subtitled, so here’s a quick list to help start you off!
썰다 – to chop
네모꼴로 썰다 – to dice
얇게 썰다 – to slice
채를 썰다 – to julienne
다지다 – to mince / finely chop
볶다 – to stir-fry
지지다 – to sauté / panfry
튀기다 – to deep fry (think 감자 튀김 / french fries!)
부치다 – to fry, griddle
끓다 – to boil
굽다 – to to roast
