So I personally love cooking. The food is one of the main reasons I began studying Korean. A lot of the Korean cooking shows are great sources, but are not subtitled, so here’s a quick list to help start you off!

네모꼴로 썰다 – to dice
얇게 썰다 – to slice
채를 썰다 – to julienne
다지다 – to mince / finely chop

튀기다 – to deep fry (think 감자 튀김 / french fries!)
부치다 – to fry, griddle
끓다 – to boil
굽다 – to to roast
훈제되다 – to smoke (food)Let me know if you have any words / sets you’d like to add or learn about!
