TTMIK Iyagi 11: 아르바이트

개념 = concept

그냥 아르바이트라고 하고 요즘에는 줄여서(shorten) 알바라고 하죠?

보통 학생들은 과외를 많이 하죠.

제일 신기한 건 교통량 조사(traffic census) 아르바이트.

10년 전에는 이 도로(road)에 버스가 몇 대(vehicle counter) 지나가고 승용차(car)가 몇 대 지나가는 지를 조사를 했어요.

교통의 양(amount)을 조사하는 아르바이트.

시험 감독(invigilator)도 했고. 그리고 결혼식 가서

신부 들러리(maid of honour/best man) 하는 거

했었어요.  

요즘에 도우미(guide, assistant)라고 하는 것 같아요.

네. 고3 때부터 과외를 했는데 과외라는 것이 뭔지 잘 모르시는 분이 계시면, 과외는 개인 수업이에요.

“과”라는 것은 학교 수업 과목을 말하는 거고 그 다음에 “외”는 바깥(outside),

성적(grade)은 많이 올랐어요?

도서관에 책을 빌리러(borrow) 갈 때가 있잖아요?

신의 아르바이트라고 말할 수도 있겠고,그래서 경쟁(competition)이 심해요.
