use 이미 when you are already aware of and talking about something. use 벌써 when you are just finding out about something
그 사람은 이미 하교를 졸업했어요. – he already graduated from school. (you have both known about this fact for a long time prior to the conversation.
그 사람은 벌써 하교를 졸업했어요 – (you have found it out recently, or you know about and the other person doesn’t)
