진국 – someone who’s genuine/down to earth
I just learned this word a few days ago so I wanted to add a bit more!
진 means genuine and 국 means soup (or broth)
So as my boyfriend explained it to me, if you buy soup from a company it might have a lot of artificial flavours in it to make it taste good, but if you bought it from a small restaurant it would be homemade so it’s called ‘진국’ meaning genuine soup / it’s very tasty while being made of all natural ingredientsand this phrase can also be used to describe a person who is genuine and has a lot of good qualities
