그녀는 밝은 색의 옷을 좋아한다 – She likes brightly coloured clothes.
너한테는 갈색이 안 어울려 – Brown doesn’t suit you.
그녀는 회색 옷을 입고 있었다 – She was wearing grey clothes.

red (빨갛다), yellow (노랗다), blue (파랗다, 푸르다), white (하얗다, 희다) and black (검다) have verb forms! 

대부분의 토마토는 익으면 빨갛다 – Most tomatoes are red when ripe.
사과가 빨갛게 익었다 – The apples have ripened to a nice red.  
하나는 하얗고 다른 하나는 빨갛다 – One is white and the other is red.  
그들은 벽을 파랗게 칠했다 – They painted the wall blue
그녀는 피부가 희다 – her complexion is fair 
검지 않지만, 거의 검다 – It is not black; but it is nearly black.
