같은 compares two nouns together. 처럼 describes an action being done like a noun.
인형처럼 생겼네요. – You look like a doll. (a common compliment for girls)
재벌처럼 살고 싶어. – I want to live like a chaebol.
오빠는 바보같은 사람이잖아. – You know my brother is like an idiot.
우리 엄마같은 사람들이 좋아요. – I like people who are like my mom.

저같이 해 보세요 = try doing it like I do
그 사람은 한국어를 한국 사람같이 잘해요 = he speaks korean well like a korean
제가 어제 말한 것같이 했어요? = did you do it like i said yesterday?
저 사람같이 하세요 = Do it like that person does
그가 그곳은 정말 그림같이 아름답대 = He told me it was absolutely picturesque there
나는 바보같이 보일 거야 = I will look like a fool.

언니가 오늘 슬퍼 보여 = My older sister looks sad today.
행복해 보여요 = You look happy.
엄마가 화나 보여 = Mom looks angry.
저 사람이 바빠 보여요 = That person looks busy.
그 여자는 마흔 살쯤 되어 보인다 = She looks about forty.
그녀는 아주 친절해 보인다 = She seems very kind.
이거 매워 보이는데, 사실은 하나도 안 매워요 = This looks spicy, but it’s not spicy at all.
이 케이크가 맛있어 보여서 샀는데, 너무 달아요 = This cake looked delicious so I bought it, but it’s too sweet.
비둘기처럼 보이네요 = It looks like a pigeon.
멀어서 잘 안 보이지만, “3”처럼 보이네요 = I can’t see clearly because it’s far, but it looks like a “3”.
경찰처럼 보이는 사람이 그 여자를 데려갔어요 = Someone who looks like a cop took her.
