그냥 아르바이트라고 하고 요즘에는 줄여서(shorten) 알바라고 하죠?
보통 학생들은 과외를 많이 하죠.
제일 신기한 건 교통량 조사(traffic census) 아르바이트.
10년 전에는 이 도로(road)에 버스가 몇 대(vehicle counter) 지나가고 승용차(car)가 몇 대 지나가는 지를 조사를 했어요.
교통의 양(amount)을 조사하는 아르바이트.
시험 감독(invigilator)도 했고. 그리고 결혼식 가서
신부 들러리(maid of honour/best man) 하는 거
했었어요.
요즘에 도우미(guide, assistant)라고 하는 것 같아요.
네. 고3 때부터 과외를 했는데 과외라는 것이 뭔지 잘 모르시는 분이 계시면, 과외는 개인 수업이에요.

“과”라는 것은 학교 수업 과목을 말하는 거고 그 다음에 “외”는 바깥(outside),
성적(grade)은 많이 올랐어요?
도서관에 책을 빌리러(borrow) 갈 때가 있잖아요?
신의 아르바이트라고 말할 수도 있겠고,그래서 경쟁(competition)이 심해요.
~자고?
Can be translated as “are you suggesting (asking) that we do?”. The ending ~자 (proposal) and the quotative particle 고, followed by a rising intonation, make up this grammar pattern.

I love drawing this letter, the hieut (히읗), because it is almost like the symbol of Hangeul and all things Korean. And of course because it is wearing a cute hat on top of its round head.

밥은 학교에 의해 제공된다 = food is provided by the school
집은 청소기에 의해 청소되었어 = the house was cleaned by the vacuum cleaner (/아버지에게 청소되었어 = by my dad)
고속도로에서 발생한 사고에 의해 사람들이 지나가지 못했어요 = Due to the accident (that occurred) on the road, people couldn’t pass
공사에 의해 이 길은 막혔습니다 = This road is blocked by the constructionOr, in this situation:
문이 바람에 의해 열렸어요 = The door was opened due to the wind
담배에 의한 사망은 증가하고 있어요 = deaths due to smoking are increasing
알렉상드르 뒤마에 의해 씌어진 같은 제목의 이야기에 바탕을 두고 있다. =

~에 의하면 = According to
신문에 의하면 내일 비가 올 거예요 = According to the newspaper, it will rain tomorrow
소문에 의하면 그 남자는 아내랑 이혼했어요 = According to rumors, he divorced his wife
그 사람에 의하면 가게에 도착하고 싶다면 이 쪽으로 가야 돼요 = According to that person, we need to go that way to get to the store
~(으)로 인하다 = Due to, As a result of
그 사람은 사고로 인해 목숨을 잃었어요 = That person died from (due to/as a result of) a car accident
저는 야외모임을 비로 인해 취소했어요 = I cancelled the meeting outside due to/as a result of the rain
날씨로 인해 콘서트가 취소되었습니다 = The concert was cancelled due to/as a result of the weather
호우로 인한 홍수 = a flood due to heavy rain
지진으로 인한 피해 = damage due to an earthquake

I’ve seen the construction 에 의해 쓰여진 e.g ‘리어왕은 윌리엄 셰익스피어에 의해 쓰여진 희곡입니다’ – ‘King Lear is a play written by William Shakespear. But I’m not 100% sure.
