보다: to look 이거 보세요 Look at this.
바라보다: to gaze, to look (for longer) 그는 산을 바라보고 있었어요. He was looking at the mountain.
쳐다보다: to stare 왜 그렇게 쳐다봐요? Why are you staring at me like that?
노려보다: to stare, to glare 그는 화가 너서 처를 노려봤어요. He stared at me out of anger.
째려보다: to stare angrily 째려 보니까 무서워요. Since you are staring at me like that, I’m scared.
